What exactly goes into the archive
The extension saves what’s shown in the conversations open in this browser while Chrome is running. Older chats can be added via the official export or the history-saving menu.
Up to 25 MB per file. Unavailable attachments, hidden artifacts and entire Claude projects are not saved. If a file couldn’t be retrieved, the archive marks it.

Chats and files are stored in your Chrome profile. The extension does not receive their contents.
Saving starts only with your consent. You can pause it at any time.
The archive is not encrypted. Anyone with access to your computer’s files can read it.
FAQ
Will old chats be saved?
Conversations you open after installing are saved automatically. Older history can be added through the official ChatGPT or Claude export, or through the extension menu’s “Save old history”. Saving an account’s entire history is not guaranteed.
How do I continue in another account?
Open the conversation in the archive and click “Continue in ChatGPT” or “Continue in Claude”. KeepFlow opens a new chat and attaches the conversation and files to it itself. Check it and send — it never sends anything on its own. If inserting doesn’t work, the archive shows how to finish by hand.
How much history the model can take in depends on the limits of the service you choose.
What if I delete the extension?
The archive in the browser is deleted along with the extension or the Chrome profile. That’s why you can turn on a daily ZIP copy to disk. It includes a reader: unzip the archive and open reader.html in your browser.
Copies are not encrypted. Keep them like personal documents and move a fresh copy to another drive if you want protection against computer failure.
Does saving work when the browser is closed?
The extension only works while Chrome is running. It saves what ChatGPT and Claude show on the page. The disk copy is also created only while the browser is open.
Which browser do I need?
Chrome version 120 or newer on a computer. Other Chromium-based browsers haven’t been tested yet.
How much does it cost?
KeepFlow is in beta and free for now. Paid plans will come later. We’ll let you know in advance, and what you have already saved stays in your archive.
